Keywords for your Websites

The keywords used in the websites are the final product after a thorough research over the following points:

1. Company niche is companys' domain, their products or services or Information
2.How heavy is its competition.
3.How people search to find them.

These 3 main points are usually considered by web marketers while selecting the required keywords to target a website. Also, one need to use the filtered keywords or key phrases on the Titles and Metatags to attract the Google's Algorithms. Once these keywords are selected they should be used in a systamatic manner considering the saturation part of it.

Finally, this keyword saturation will make Google to know about the site only when these keywords are relevent to the topic or context of the website. Click to learn more on relevency of the keywords.

Keyword Competition

While a Search Marketer Judge the results tentatively by looking at the number as Search Engine Result Pages or SERPs in short, traditionally he finds that the competition for a term or a keyword to have such a competition.

But, in my opinion this will not give a right number in gauging the competition for the keywords. This is because the number of results that are displayed by Google as SERPs is a false one.

To support this, when you click at the last page you can see "repeat the search with the omitted results included" and you will find that the result pages are far less than the ones that are displayed as SERPs.

In addition to this you can find more pages that are omitted are either considered to be in Google's Supplemental Index or less important pages.

To sum up these SERPs cannot give a Search marketer a right judgement to modify his or her campaign with their keywords lest it is important to find the Search Count alone to optimize the content.
