Adam Lasnik Google Search Evangelist
Adam Lasnik is a well known Search Evangelist at Google, Mountain View, California. He made it up to Chennai SearchCamp Event on Sunday, 1st of March 2009 a day after Google Conference in Bangalore.I was able to catch up with him to discuss related to Search Engines guidelines, webmaster tools, duplicate content problems, dynamic URLs, Site links among others.
Adam was accompanied by Google India Head, Vivek. Hespoke about Local search and the progress of Google's Bus that was launched for awareness for the Rural folks in Tamil Nadu.
It was an overall, awesome event with many more Internet & Search Marketing Gurus, SEO and SEM evangelists among many more Subject matter experts (SMEs) from many parts of Indian cities.
There were presentations on Search Marketing to Internet Marketing to Brand awareness among others including general SEO, SEM web analytics tips and techniques.SearchCamp Event 09 is one of the successful events.
